WHEB exits from investment in Advanced Manufacturing Control Systems Limited, a supplier of solutions to the recycling and waste management industry

WHEB’s private equity team is pleased to report a successful exit from its investment in Advanced Manufacturing Control Systems Limited, (“AMCS”), a supplier of end-to-end software solutions and on-vehicle technology to the recycling and waste management industry.

WHEB contributed to AMCS’ go-to-market strategy, business model and its expansion into new markets including acquisitions in the UK, US and Scandinavia. During WHEB’s holding period, AMCS increased revenues and EBITDA from €8.4m and €0.7m respectively in 2009 to €18m and €1.9m respectively in 2013.

Mike Wynne, Chairman of AMCS said “Thanks to its extensive network and in-depth experience of backing resource efficiency technology businesses, WHEB made a highly constructive and tangible contribution to AMCS’ growth, both organic and through acquisition, during its five year holding period. I’d like to thank James and his team for their invaluable support.”
