Tictail, the free-to-use DIY e-commerce platform, closes Series B funding round of $22M from a group of investors led by Creandum

Tictail has raised $22m in Series B funding from Creandum, which led the roundtable, Balderton, Thrive Capital and Acton Capital.

Tictail has created a marketplace that puts over two millions users in the same place as over 80,000 independent brands. The Tictail platform is already one of the smartest and most useful marketplaces for small business owners, and the next level of mobile shopping functionality that the team plan to implement will help them solidify this position, whilst they continue to grow an engaged and loyal community.

Since launch in 2012, Tictail has quickly grown a genuinely transatlantic team, with a significant and effective presence in New York in addition to continuing to build a fantastic group in their hometown of Stockholm.
