The Gores Group and Technology4Medicine, LLC Acquire Fotona d.d., a manufacturer of high performance lasers for medical applications
LOS ANGELES, CA, and LJUBLJANA, SLOVENIA, March 6, 2014 The Gores Group, a leading, Los Angeles?based investment firm, and Technology4Medicine, LLC, today announced they have closed on the acquisition of Fotona d.d., a Ljubljana, Slovenia?based manufacturer of high performance lasers for medical, dental, aesthetic and gynecological applications. The Gores Group invested through its Small Capitalization Partners investment fund. Jeffrey W. Jones, President of Technology4Medicine, will assume the role of CEO of the combined business.
