Portfolio Company Infopro Digital acquires Goupe Moniteur, a leader within the French business information market
Paris, 20 December 2013 Infopro Digital, the leading business information group in France, which operates in the industrial, car manufacturing, retail, insurance and tourism sectors, is acquiring 100% of ISH, Groupe Moniteurs holding company.
Groupe Moniteur, which has over 1,000 employees and revenues of 165 million, rounds out Infopro Digital’s business activities in the construction, local authority and energy sectors.
Infopro Digital is maintaining the 25% annual growth rate that it has achieved over the past 13 years. The Group will now report revenues of 300 million, and will count more than 2,000 employees. The Group plans to pursue its development strategy by relying on its employees and on its brands, all of which are leaders in their respective markets, and include ETAI, LUsine Nouvelle, Le Moniteur des travaux publics et du bâtiment, LSA, La Gazette des Communes, and lArgus de lAssurance.
The merger between the two groups will enable an accelerated roll-out of integrated multi-media offerings (software, databases, magazines, trade shows and events, etc.). Digital media already accounts for almost 50% of the combined entitys revenues, and is likely to continue its expansion. Technological innovation will remain a focal point of the strategy, alongside an active acquisition-driven growth plan, especially outside of France.
Apax Partners, Infopro Digitals shareholder, and Bridgepoint, ISHs shareholder, will support the Group during this major expansion phase, alongside Infopro Digitals founder, Christophe Czajka, and the companys managers.
