Litorina sells Ocay, one of Sweden’s leading suppliers of office consumables, to AllOffice
The journey to create Ocay was initiated in 2012 through the merger of local suppliers of office consumables to private and public customers in Sweden. The group today has 36 stores across Sweden with a central warehouse in Norrköping, which together serve approximately 50 000 customers all over Sweden.
Through the creation of Ocay, Litorina established one of the market leaders in Sweden within office consumables to small and mid-sized customers with a nationwide network of stores, field sales representatives, customer support and with a common online webstore.
Litorina now sells Ocay to AllOffice and through the merger, the combined group will reach additional scale and presence in the Swedish market. The new combined group will be one of Sweden’s largest suppliers within office consumables with a combined turnover of close to SEK 1 billion.
”We have worked hard to develop Ocay during the last 5 years and it has been an exciting journey coupled with challenges to combine cultures, business operations and central warehouse functions into one company at the same time as we have stayed focused on our daily job to give good service to all our customers. We now leave a well-integrated group over to AllOffice and wish them luck in their continued expansion”, says Paul Steene, Partner at Litorina Capital Advisors.
”Through the acquisition of Ocay, AllOffice will be able to speed up our expansion and I look forward to continue the development of the new group”, says Carl Lindgren, CEO of AllOffice.
Ocay is one of the leading suppliers in Sweden of products and services to business customers within technical products, sanitation and hygiene, break-room and HoReCa, office consumables, packaging, workwear, office furniture, printing solutions and profile products. The company has a local presence with 36 stores from Trelleborg in the south to Luleå i the north and serves approximately 50 000 customers across the country with the supplies they need in their daily operations.
